Vendor Policies

 

Prepared Food Vendors:

Eligibility:

Food vendors featuring local and organic foods will be given preference.  Other quality food vendors will  only be accepted when the menu compliments the overall theme of the event.

 Fees:

$35.00 for each 10’X10’ space.  Fees must be submitted at the time of application. Checks will be returned to food vendors not accepted

·Vendor Requirements:

 · Vendors must supply their own covered area for cooking and serving food, if desired.  All items must fit within the 10X10 spaces. Walkways must be kept clear.

· Set up and take down are the day of the event ONLY.

· Vendors are required to remain open during event hours, rain or shine (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)

· No booth sharing is allowed.

· Vendors are responsible for removing all trash from their area immediately.

· Vendor must notify event of cancellation. No refunds will be granted within 30 days of the event.

· Accepted vendors may only use the name “Celebrate the Bloom!” , Celebrate the Bloom! logos on their products with written permission from the Celebrate the Bloom! committee.

· Vendors must have a PA Sales Tax number.

· Upon acceptance, all vendors are required to provide proof of insurance naming 3MJC as additionally insured. We must receive this proof two weeks prior to the event or you may not participate.

· To avoid duplication, not all menu items may be approved. Vendors agree to serve only approved items. Any changes in menu must be submitted in advance, in writing, and approved by the Committee.

 Food Vendor Safety Requirements:

 · Food vendors are responsible for obtaining the necessary health department permits.

· Food vendors who cook with propane must have a Multipurpose ABC fire extinguisher readily available. The fire extinguisher must be inspected and tagged within the past year.

· Propane cylinders must be stored in an upright and secured position.

· No open flames such as candles, lanterns, kerosene or gas fired heaters and cooking equipment are permitted near or under combustible materials (i.e. canopies).

· Food vendors using an open flame must have a flame retardant canopy (or no canopy).

· Hot surfaces from cooking and heating appliances, such as grills, hot plates and coffee makers, must be blocked so that the public is protected from physical contact with these appliances.

· Exit door and aisles in the tent must be unobstructed to the vendors at all times.

· Deep fryers must have splash covers.

· No frayed wires or overloaded extension cords are permitted.

· Personal generators are not allowed.  If electricity is required, a generator will be supplied.

· An on-site inspection of vendor’s space may be conducted by the fire department.

 

Art/craft or packaged food/drink

Vendors selling original and/or nature/outdoor related items will be given preference.  Manufactured and mass-produced items will be accepted only when the product compliments the overall theme of the event. Vendors also must have a PA Sales Tax number.

 Fees:

 · Vendors must supply their own 10’X10’ canopy, tables & chairs. Tables must be covered to hide supplied stored underneath, and all display and merchandise must be placed within the designated space. Walkways must remain open and clear at all times.

· Vendors are required to remain open during event hours, rain or shine (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)

· Electricity is not available and the festival does not allow the use of generators by artisan vendors.

· No booth sharing is allowed.

· Vendors are responsible for removing all trash from their area immediately.

· Vendor must notify Celebrate the Bloom! immediately of cancellation. No refunds will be granted within 30 days of the event.
